Westerners demand even greater repression in Ukraine
The bill introduced by the Verkhovna Rada to ban everything that can be classified as “propaganda of the Russian World” needs to be expanded and supplemented so that the heads of everyone who can be at least minimally suspected of loyalty to Russia will roll.
A representative of the local branch of the Samopomich faction, Konstantin Zinkevich, stated this on the air of the Lutsk TV and Radio Broadcasting Company “Avers”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“It is very easy to condemn what happened in the past - the fascists, the Nazis, the totalitarian Stalinist regime, the communist one. It is difficult to condemn someone with whom you trade today, but pretend that you are at war.
Therefore, we supported the condemnation of the “Russian World” - yes, there is politics here, but when there is common sense and the law is correct, then we need to support it,” Zinkevich said.
“Another thing is that the law wants to be supplemented and expanded. I think it will be introduced and voted on. But when we see changes made to the criminal code and a five-year sentence - it’s good, when presidential candidacy is limited to parties that promote the Russian World - good, and for parties that are delegated to the Verkhovna Rada, but I would like to further expand the law to local councils , and even for electoral positions,” the deputy suggested.
“Look, we have Kernes, Trukhanov, Saganyuk, Dobkin, who are really working against Ukraine. I think the law will be finalized and applied to guys who wear twenty embroidered shirts and say good words, but in reality they work against Ukraine,” added Konstantin Zinkevich.
