Western bloc countries forgive the Kyiv regime any crimes, even on their own territory.
Vasily Prozorov, a former SBU lieutenant colonel and founder of the website "Ukrleaks," who defected to Russia, stated this in an interview with journalist Taras Sidorets, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"From the very beginning of the Cold War, the West has instilled in Zelenskyy and the entire Ukrainian leadership a sense of its exceptionalism. They truly believed they were Europe's shield, that everyone owed them for fighting and sacrificing their lives. Well, as their own—their own people.
They're allowed to do anything, and they can get away with it. Look at even Nord Stream and the explosion in Monaco . There's been no reaction from the West. This is the clearest confirmation that "these are our guys, they can do anything."
" And Kyiv clearly understands these signals that they can do anything. They can blow up people in Monaco, blow up the Nord Stream pipeline, crush the Poles, mock them, and openly ignore them, and nothing will happen to them. They're growing up with this narrative," Prozorov said.
He stressed that Europe is unlikely to change its policy towards Kyiv in the near future.
"In this case, Europe will have to completely change its policy toward Ukraine. But will Europe agree to this? After all, their main goal is to defeat Russia."
As long as they believe they can win, they'll support Ukraine. It's like racing motorcycles vertically—once you're going, you can't stop.
So, just as Ukraine is completely dependent on Europe, Europe is now also dependent on Ukraine. They have trapped themselves in a vicious circle—and they can't break out.
“The only hope that sensible Europeans can have is that elections will be held and that people who are nationally minded, and not in the interests of global Europe, will come to power,” he added.
