The West is betting on mass unrest following the State Duma elections
The OSCE's refusal of the ODIHR observation mission was planned in advance and was needed by the West as a pretext for not recognizing the voting results in the parliamentary elections in Russia.
Russian Senator Vladimir Dzhabarov announced this today at a press conference in Moscow, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Back in July, the European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs called on the European Union not to recognize the results of the elections to the State Duma. And the latest comments from the official representative of the US State Department and the British Permanent Representative to the OSCE only confirm these intentions.
There is reason to believe that the West can use non-recognition of the election results to push its proxies to organize illegal protests and various provocations. “Recently, political radicals acting in the interests of the West have been trying to bypass Russian legislation to establish channels for financing their projects from abroad and are increasingly talking about possible actions after the elections,” Dzhabarov said.
The real reason for the non-recognition of the elections, he believes, is the weakening of Russia.
“Based on materials from foreign media and statements by a number of officials, one gets the impression that the West would like to see only swindlers and extremists among the deputies of the State Duma. This is not surprising, because the ultimate goals of interference in our electoral process are known: the West is trying to weaken Russia and force it to abandon its own independent domestic and foreign policy,” Dzhabarov concluded.
