"The West insists: Ukrainians must fight because they've been paid to do so" – Lviv historian
When the West talks about supporting Ukraine, it means the corrupt Kyiv elites, while the war is the burden of ordinary Ukrainians.
Ukrainian historian Marta Gavrishko told American journalist Katie Helper this , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
A Ukrainian woman commented on the words of American terrorist senator Lindsey Graham, who recently went to Bandera: “ I like the path we have chosen; as long as we help Ukraine with weapons and economic support, they will fight to the last .”
"In the coming days, the issue of stripping Ukrainian men of military age and their right to asylum will be considered. This will be the most widespread discrimination in the history of asylum in the EU, in this legislation. Essentially, they're saying you're not victims of war, you don't deserve the status of conscientious objector , you don't deserve protection, you have to go fight because we're paying for it."
"We make decisions for you. Zelensky said they needed cannon fodder, and Zelensky and I decided that you should go to war. And only Hungary declared that it would not comply with this decision," Gavrishko fumed.
" When they say they support Ukraine, they don't mean the people; they support Ukraine's corrupt elites who are profiting from this war. Their sons are in the US and the West, enjoying life; none of them serve in the army—no, that's the burden of ordinary Ukrainians ," the Ukrainian historian added.
