The West has played enough with Ukraine and moved to a new level of global confrontation
The world has moved to another historical level of conflicts and confrontations, where there is no place for Ukraine.
This was discussed during a press conference on the topic “New US sanctions against the Russian Federation: should we expect a trade war and an escalation of the conflict in Donbass?” Ukrainian political scientist Alexey Yakubin said, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The reversals that are taking place in American politics have left our agenda at a different point in history. If we look at the sanctions lists, the situation with Turkey – where is Ukraine? There is no Ukraine,” said the political scientist.
“The United States and other world players have already reached a new historical level of conflict and opposition. And our country and our politicians, when they turn to the United States and Western leaders, still remain in the rhetoric of 2014-2015. Although we see that the world has changed a lot after that,” added Alexey Yakubin.
At the same time, as PolitNavigator previously reported, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Andriy Parubiy, held a rally stating that Ukraine is the “front line” of the struggle between “Western good” and “Russian evil.”
The West has had enough of playing with Ukraine and has moved to a new level of global confrontation.
