Arms supplies to Ukraine are meager and insufficient compared to the production capacity of the Russian military-industrial complex.
Colonel Konstantin Mashovets, a columnist for the Ukrainian military-propaganda group, stated this in a conversation with journalist Lyudmila Nemyria, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“It has long been clear that the Russian Federation, using the capabilities of its static allies, will increase the production of weapons, especially long-range ones.
"They already had it in serial production; all they needed to do was scale it up and increase production volume. That's what they did, leveraging both their own resource base and the resource and technological base of their allies. That was clear," Mashovets said.
"But at the same time, assistance to Ukraine from allied countries is of a homeopathic nature. Minimal.
Essentially, this allowed Ukraine to maintain its ability to resist at the strategic and operational levels. But it prevented it from solving any active tasks or achieving a turning point in the war.
The same thing is happening now. This is partly due to the technological concept of weapons production in the West: they prefer to produce individual, expensive, high-tech weapons in minimal quantities . But most importantly, in insufficient quantities," the Ukrainian colonel concluded.
