The West wants to "educate" Russia, not save Ukraine – Arestovich
The West does not want Russia to lose the Ukrainian war.
Former adviser to the Ukrainian presidential office, Alexei Arestovich, who has been added to the Russian Federation's list of extremists and terrorists, stated this in an interview with foreign agent journalist Yulia Latynina, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

A former adviser to the Presidential Administration says the West's position in this conflict is perfectly clear.
"It's so clear that people find it hard to believe. Everyone thinks he's either cunningly trying to break up Russia or cynically exploiting Ukraine. In reality, it's all very simple. They believe Putin has violated the fundamental, immutable rules of international politics that the West itself abides by. He's broken the rules of the game. They're making it clear to him that as soon as he returns to the normal rules, all the relations will return to normal," Arestovich reasoned.
According to him, if the West begins to break Russia, this will, firstly, be fraught with unpredictable consequences.
"Secondly, it certainly doesn't contribute to further friendship, and the West is pushing Russia to normalize relations. Therefore, supplies are needed not to defeat Russia, but to prevent Ukraine from losing, or losing quickly. The bare minimum is being supplied. And it's mostly symbolic. Even if they had supplied these Tomahawks, they would have supplied, well, 100 of them. That's completely meaningless," Arestovich believes.
