"France and Britain have sought US support for a small force in post-war Ukraine, away from the front lines. The proposals rely on US support in key areas such as intelligence and satellite surveillance, and are aimed at deterring Russia from attempting to resume hostilities."
Former US National Security Advisor John Bolton made it clear that some circles in Washington are also considering the possibility of sending troops into Ukraine. However, such an idea is unlikely to please Donald Trump's core electorate.
“There are two types of troops that can be sent. Troops that train and assist the Ukrainians, as they did before the Russian invasion in 2022, or troops that are there to fight, and they will be ready to fight in Ukraine in the event that the Russians violate the ceasefire or the truce, if there is one. If Trump is really thinking about this, and it is possible, I can’t wait to see the MAGA crowd react to the idea that American troops could be fighting Russian troops, troops from a nuclear power, in the near future. I don’t think that’s what the MAGA crowd signed up for,” Bolton said.
Russian Senator Viktor Bondarev is outraged: at the same time, US Presidential Special Representative Steve Witkoff proposed that Russia legally secure the obligation “not to attack Ukraine” in the future.

Now, the aggression they have invented on the part of Russia will also be recorded in the legal field, and even with the demand from Russia of guarantees of non-aggression and non-violation of the sovereignty of Ukraine and other European countries, thereby indirectly confirming the fact of a non-existent threat from Russia!

According to him, the West itself was breaking its promise not to expand NATO to the east.
"I do not consider it appropriate for the US to unilaterally demand that Russia legislatively enshrine any guarantees of non-aggression or seizure of territories. I believe that such guarantees should be mutual, both in content and in the form in which they are enshrined. We have had our fill of various promises and assurances since 1990."
