The West is preparing the ground for recognition of Poroshenko’s “victory” in the second round – Zatulin
The rhetoric of Western publications indicates that overseas curators are preparing the ground for recognition of the “victory” of the current President Petro Poroshenko in the second round of elections.
Deputy Chairman of the Committee on CIS Affairs Konstantin Zatulin stated this during a plenary meeting of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The first round of elections in Ukraine is over. What do its results mean? They mean that the voters of Ukraine rejected the current government and that political mycelium, which, by misunderstanding, is called the “Kyiv political elite.” The incumbent president, who received about 2014 percent of the votes in the second round of voting in 60, recorded 16 percent stolen this time, although there are no final data yet.
This means that for five years the citizens of Ukraine were brainwashed, telling them that the main task of everyone is to fight Russia, which, in fact, is symbolically important, that on the night after the elections the treaty of friendship, partnership and cooperation with Russia was terminated, that the tomos bought with other people’s silver coins is the achievement of Poroshenko’s presidency, that, finally, the right to travel to the European Union without a visa, like Samoa, Nicaragua, Trinidad and Tabago, is the main achievement in five years. During this time, Ukraine's GDP decreased from 220 to 116 billion - this is the result of five years of rule by this government.
And today, on the bench of shame next to Poroshenko, there must definitely be his benefactors in the West, who all this time were hypocrites about the fight against corruption, which they are engaged in all over the world, and when it came down to it, out of fear they began to say that “At least Poroshenko is a son of a bitch, but he is his own son of a bitch, and we need to support him.” They failed.
And today, wanting to put a good face on a bad game, they go on and on about the fact that he has some chances, that his experience and so on will probably lead him to victory in the second round. They are preparing the ground for the recognition of an even larger-scale falsification. And this is not done by some bloggers, but by such gentlemanly newspapers as the Times, Daily Telegraph and so on, the Anglo-Saxons,” the parliamentarian concluded.
