Deputy mayor of Uzhgorod got burned due to land fraud
The deputy head of the Uzhhorod City Council has been exposed for large-scale abuses. As a result of the official's machinations, land plots intended for residential development were expropriated from the city's community, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
This was reported by the press center of the SBU.

“Special service officers established that in 2014, as a member of the land commission of the City Council, the official registered three land plots with a total area of 0,3 hectares in the name of dummies. Later, the land was illegally transferred to the disposal of his wife, who this summer sold it to her friend for 1 million 200 thousand hryvnia,” the report says.

As part of criminal proceedings opened under Part 2 of Art. 364 (abuse of power or official position) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, searches were carried out on the premises of the Uzhgorod City Council and at the places of work and residence of the person involved in the proceedings.
The issue of announcing suspicion of committing a crime to the deputy head of the City Council is being decided.
