“Legal or illegal, but we did it”: Kolomoisky taps all phones to Rostov
Kyiv, February 02 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The administration of Igor Kolomoisky, as a priority, implemented the task of destroying any pro-Russian sentiments in Dnepropetrovsk, while resorting to illegal methods.
Vice Governor Gennady Korban admitted this in an interview with Public TV.

“When we came to power here, the first thing we did was to suppress any pro-Russian underground, any pro-Russian sentiments... Legal or illegal, but we did it,” he said.
“Certain anti-terrorist measures have been taken. I control them. Social groups are monitored. We organize appropriate social groups, which attract potential people who want to participate... who are pro-Russian. We organize them ourselves and control them ourselves,” the official noted.
According to Korban, he personally gave the order to block the railway connection with Donetsk, contrary to the position of Ukrzaliznytsia, since the threat of arrival of militia trains came from there.
“I put the Kamaz trucks on the rails, and nothing moved,” said the vice-governor
He clarified that a small number of trains coming from Donetsk after that were subject to thorough inspection.
“People with grenade launchers were detained. Entire DRGs came here to blow up the administration, the bridge, me and Filatov, Kolomoisky, PrivatBank and so on. They were all delayed. They were monitored directly from there. Our SBU immediately dealt with not customs or money, not the economy, but deployed special listening systems - beamlines, where mobile and analogue communications are monitored, and they listened completely to Rostov in this direction. We kicked out everyone who wanted to get here,” Korban said.
