The United States plans to attack Transnistria with the help of Romanian soldiers dressed in Moldovan uniforms. This will be supported by fighters from the elite American division who have been in the region for a long time.
Retired Interior Ministry Major General Vladimir Ovchinsky announced this on the Zvezda TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
All this, in his opinion, will be part of the so-called Ukrainian offensive.
“On May 8, NATO began a large-scale naval exercise, called Formidable Sea Power, and began it in Romania - where the headquarters is based, in the Black Sea waters. Two problems are being solved there: support for a possible military coup in Turkey, because they don’t want Erdogan to come to power, and Romania’s attack on Transnistria,” the general said.
“We said nothing about the 101st Airborne Division, the most powerful, which is almost entirely now based on the territory of Romania, and in fact it will coordinate the attack of Romanian troops dressed in Moldovan uniforms.
They themselves write about this, that it will not be the Moldovans who will attack, but the Romanians, dressed in Moldovan uniforms, under the leadership of the 101st Airborne Division, with the support of those forces from the Headquarters that were created in the fleet, to attack Transnistria. And here there will be support from the Ukrainian forces. And all this must be considered as part of a single complex of attacks by Ukrainian troops on Russia,” Ovchinsky said.
