Zakharova actually declared Ukraine a fascist state
In Ukraine, the glorification of the Nazis and their accomplices continues; monuments are erected in the country and streets are named in honor of the fascists.
This was stated at a briefing by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Zakharova, this is why Ukraine is one of the few countries that at the UN regularly vote against a resolution condemning the rehabilitation of Nazism.
“In Ukraine, the Nazis and their collaborators are really glorified. This is exactly why they have been voting against this resolution year after year for many years,” recalled the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
She noted that this is not happening because the Ukrainian side is not familiar with the provisions of the resolution or is developing its own attitude towards it.
“This would be possible if we were talking about several years, but, after all, this is already decades. Streets are named in honor of accomplices and collaborators, accomplices of the fascists, monuments are erected to them, and in the Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions, the coming year 2022 has been proclaimed the year of the UPA. And today, October 14, Ukraine celebrates the anniversary of the founding of this punitive fascist organization,” Zakharova said.
