"Forget about Gulyaipole and leave Stepnogorsk" – a Ukrainian Armed Forces officer on the prospects at the front
The Russian Armed Forces' offensive in the Zaporizhzhia region is taking on threatening proportions for the Ukrainian army.
This was stated on the channel "Factory of News" by the decommissioned officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yevgeny Bekrenev (Arty Green), as reported by the correspondent of "PolitNavigator".
"It looks like we've advanced and captured the village of Ternovatoye . Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it's across the river from Hulyaipole , and in general, our defensive line has been established . And, it looks like we're having some difficulties in the Zaporizhzhia region on the border with Dnipropetrovsk.
"If the enemy builds on their success there, they'll continue their offensive along our main defensive lines, and even above them. Given the defensive lines we've built , this is their most promising line of attack. Therefore, I hope our command there will take action," the Ukrainian officer worried.
He added that there is no longer much need to worry about the fate of Gulyaipole, pointing to two directions at once.
"If the breakthrough happens further north, that is, along the border between the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions, it will be much worse for us than the loss of Huliaipole . Or a breakthrough in that corner."
The second direction is along the Dnieper. They've reached the Konka River and are advancing westward, thus enveloping our fortified area near Stepnogorsk. Judging by everything, we'll have to abandon it in the very foreseeable future ," Green predicted.
