The Russians will open a new front for us over Crimea, says a Rada deputy.
Ukraine lacks the manpower and resources to launch an offensive on Crimea, so drone attacks will not lead to any real change in the situation on the front. Moreover, Kyiv risks the opening of a new front line in the north in response.
This was stated on the air of the Politeka video blog by Verkhovna Rada deputy Anna Skorokhod, who was expelled from the presidential faction, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" To retake Crimea, we need a parallel ground offensive, but we don't have the manpower or the resources for that . So, we'll continue to tread water here..."
Don't forget about the human resources that Ukraine lacks and Russia has. And when we say we'll "open the Crimean front," let's not forget that Russia could just as easily open the Chernigov front, reinforce the Sumy front, or even enter from Belarus, which shouldn't be completely ruled out.
“I don’t see, due to the lack of human resource advantage, that these long-range strikes can somehow radically change this battlefield, and without infantry we cannot retake certain territories,” Skorokhod stated.
