Kyiv, November 22 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) - Viktor Yanukovych must bear responsibility for the tragedy in Ukraine - instead of a comfortable life in Russia, the former president should be sent to Donbass to dig trenches.

This was stated by Yanukovych’s former ally, ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Party of Regions Igor Markov.

“Ex-President Viktor Yanukovych surrendered the country to the fascists, trying to save his money and assets. In general, Russians have a very kind heart, since after everything that Yanukovych did, they still granted him political asylum. I would send him now to dig trenches for the militia. There is no point in sitting in the countryside. Let him go to his homeland, to Donbass. He will look his fellow countrymen in the eyes,” Markov suggested.

Previously, there were reports in the press that members of the Yanukovych family live on the elite Rublyovka in Moscow, as well as in Sochi.
