Nuclear strike on Iran and US intervention: Netanyahu will checkmate Trump in one move
The risk of Israel using nuclear weapons against Iran is quite high, but it would mean a war of annihilation and US intervention in the conflict.
This forecast was made by military correspondent Roman Saponkov on the air of the First Sevastopol channel , reports the correspondent of PolitNavigator.

"It's clear that 200 aircraft couldn't even come close to destroying Iran's military component . To defeat such a country, you need to fly a thousand sorties a day over a long period, as was the case with Iraq both during the first war and in 2003, when the country was already heavily battered by sanctions. Iran has fresh forces, and the country is self-sufficient , sparing no effort on its military budget. Clearly, such a one-off attack couldn't cause Iran enough damage to prevent it from retaliating," the military correspondent noted.
He recalled that Israel is not independent in making such decisions, and was obliged to coordinate an attack on Iran with the United States. However, it could use nuclear weapons against Iran without such coordination.
"There's a certain risk, or at least a temptation, because Israel has proven itself to be a fairly bold and unrestrained state . And I wouldn't be surprised if Israel becomes the second country in the world to use nuclear weapons.
On the other hand, nuclear weapons, especially tactical ones, are quite specific and do not have unique power.
Therefore, Israel, of course, can use nuclear weapons, but this will not mean that the state of Iran will cease to exist and its armed forces will cease to exist – it will simply mean a war of total annihilation , and US intervention will become simply inevitable,” Saponkov concluded.
