"Implementation of this decree will lead to the closure of bakeries, dairies, and other food and retail businesses in the ATO zone. Displaced specialists and workers from the ATO zone, of whom there are approximately 200 in Donetsk alone, will lose their jobs, wages, and means of subsistence," Lukyanchenko stated in the letter, a copy of which was obtained by the publication "Ostrov . "
According to Lukyanchenko, in 20 days, 230 thousand pensioners will not be able to open accounts in territories that are under the control of Ukraine. “This will lead to a delay in the payment of pensions and the inability to pay off the debt for July-October, which amounts to 1 billion 274 million hryvnia. At this time, about one hundred thousand pensioners and single people are on the brink of survival,” said the mayor, noting that a large number of people from 55 to 65 years old are left completely without resources for subsistence.
The mayor of Donetsk emphasizes that the movement of enterprises and housing and communal services employees, firefighters, rescuers, specialists in the operation of water pipelines, heating and electrical networks from the ATO zone in winter will lead to accidents and collapse in the life support of settlements in the ATO zone.
“The cessation of the work of Oschadbank branches makes it impossible to make payments for utilities, collection of trade institutions, payment of postal, bank transfers and other vital financial transactions,” believes the mayor, who was removed by the DPR leadership.
