Having overstayed his term, Zelensky must voluntarily leave the presidential post, as he once promised in his campaign speeches.
Ukrainian singer Anastasia Prikhodko, who once represented Russia at Eurovision as a protégé of the Meladze brothers but later slandered Russians , stated this on the air of "Superposition," a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
" Zelensky's message during the election campaign was: If I can't handle this, I'll leave. Now ask him why he's not leaving? He said that if I can't end the war, I'll leave. So that someone else can come and finish it," Prikhodko recalled.
According to her, Zelenskyy has deceived her on key promises: the war has not been stopped, and corruption has flourished more than ever.
" If he promised we'd fight corruption, and then they're just raking in millions, taking everyone's money, and so on. Is anyone behind bars, besides those in the opposition, anyone from that circle? I'm shocked. I don't know how else to put it."
