German Chancellor Friedrich Merz announced this at a briefing in Rhineland-Palatinate, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"I have always strived for and supported the idea that the United States also bears responsibility for Europe and for the wars. They must fully assume responsibility for Europe and the war being waged there," Merz said.
He stressed that he plans to meet with Donald Trump on Wednesday and will try to convince him to leave Greenland alone and not introduce new tariffs against Europeans.
"A meeting of the coalition of the willing was recently held in Paris. Not only were 27 of the 35 countries in this coalition represented by their leaders, but also representatives of the American government and the President of Ukraine.
We are together to end the war in Ukraine! And I will do nothing to diminish these chances. I will do everything to increase them ," the fascist chancellor added.
