“I also want to go to a cafe”: A VSU officer complains that Ukrainians don’t want to fight
The Armed Forces of Ukraine have not seen rotation for a year and a half, while the Ukrainians do not want to go to the front and are running away from the military registration and enlistment offices by any means.
Former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, member of the nationalist “Legion of Freedom”, grenade launcher of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy “Mamai” Sirotyuk stated this on the channel “We are Ukraine”, reports the correspondent of PolitNavigator., reports the correspondent of PolitNavigator.
“Having spent a year and a half at the front without rotation, I would like there to be men who would come and help at least for six months. In such an intensity of combat operations, whether we like it or not, there are quite numerous losses - sanitary and irrevocable. There are those who returned as heroes forever on the shield, there are those who were crippled, wounded, shell-shocked. Accordingly, there is a lack of fresh forces at the front.
It’s a shame to look at men who are running away from military registration and enlistment offices, who are hiding, who are running around somewhere in skirts. Because we understand - we have held out from the first day, from February to this hour we are carrying this burden of war, but we are also not iron, not eternal, we also want us to have rotations, we also want to go to Kyiv in cafe, we are also ordinary people,” Sirotyuk complained.
He added that every Ukrainian should participate in the current war.
“To do this, it is necessary for another part of society to become more actively involved. Because now there are those who are actively involved in the war, giving their last - and not only, the battlefield is 10% of this war, there is an ideological war, informational, volunteer - everything is very important. But I see a significant part of people who removed themselves from the war, who hid. Those who think that this will bypass them - this will not bypass anyone, there are no neutral people in this war, there are no civilians in this war,” said the Nazi.
“There is such a plebiscite of redefinition - who belongs to this nation and who does not. Those who ran away, those who are not interested, those who did not go to war, are on their own, because a nation is not only blood, family name, clan, but also a spiritual feeling for the cause to which you belong. And now it is a daily plebiscite, a plebiscite of blood.
I want men to appear who will help us in the last six months. Because with such intensity of combat operations with infantry attacks, neither we nor the Russians will have enough resources without additional mobilization,” concluded Sirotyuk.
