Mikhail Fyodorov, dismissed after a squabble over the right to "utilize" Western financial aid, still hopes to return to the post of Defense Minister. He stated this in a conversation with his accomplice, Nazi and terrorist Sergei Sternenko, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Fedorov thanked the participants of the "cardboard Maidan" —the "Sorosites" extras who have been simulating public outrage over the minister's change for almost a month. Fedorov pretended these protests were unexpected (even though it's known that the extras are paid from the 30% kickbacks Fedorov received as minister ).
" I have no moral right to do anything else right now , to go into business or start something. Yes, there are offers, but I have no moral right to do anything else, because as long as people are fighting for tomorrow, and my name is heard, and people generally believe that it's possible, and there's no clear 'no' today, I believe we always have a chance.
But no matter what happens, it is very important to understand that today in our country there is no Minister of Defense; today there is an acting one.
Legally, this means that the deputy becomes acting, but he is not a member of the government; he attends Cabinet meetings, but cannot vote for government decisions.
This could be temporary, and clearly that's the current context, but it can't last. Therefore, it's crucial that parliament, once it returns from recess, make a decision and vote on the defense minister, because decisions need to be made and meetings with partners need to be held ," Fedorov stated.
