“Ukraine is still following the path of reducing consumption every year. Moreover, this is happening, unfortunately, not due to some energy-efficient technologies, but due to a banal decrease in the number of enterprises, a decrease in the population that leaves and, accordingly, consumption becomes less.

Perhaps in a few years we will theoretically be able to provide ourselves with gas. But what system will this gas be transported through? The current system is transit, it is not of an internal nature,” Stepanyuk said.
