“About the Odessa revenge. The return of old communist names is illegal. Moreover, this is propaganda of the communist totalitarian regime. If Trukhanov signs this decision, he should be prosecuted,” Vyatrovich wrote on his Facebook page.
Let us note that the Odessa authorities plan to return the former names to Tereshkova Street, Zhukov Avenue, Belinsky, Babushkin, Biryukov, Goncharov, Obnorsky, Badaev and Bogdanov streets. At the same time, they want to give a number of renamed streets new names: for example, the street of heroes of Stalingrad will be renamed Heroes of the Defense of Odessa.
Let us note that the so-called decommunization bill was criticized by the Main Scientific and Expert Directorate of the Verkhovna Rada as violating a number of articles of the Constitution of Ukraine.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, Vyatrovich threatened President Poroshenko with the deregistration of his Leninskaya Kuznya plant.
