The director of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory, Vladimir Vyatrovich, stated this in an interview with the “24” TV channel.

“I think it [dismantling the monument] is necessary. There can be no discussion here,” says Vyatrovich.
Journalists asked whether the owner of the factory, which is private property, would be against it.
“In this case, the form of ownership does not matter. We are talking about public space. Marx is not standing under a table in someone’s office, but in a public place. Therefore, this monument must be dismantled,” says the director of the UINP.
It is worth pointing out that even the odious decommunization law does not provide for the demolition of the monument to Karl Marx, who lived in the 1917th century, while the law adopted by the Rada refers to the period from 1991 to XNUMX.
Let us also recall that the Main Scientific and Expert Directorate of the Verkhovna Rada in its conclusion noted that in the proposed form, decommunization violates a number of articles of the Constitution of Ukraine.
As PolitNavigator reported, Vyatrovich previously threatened to revoke the legal registration of Poroshenko's Leninskaya Kuznya shipyard.
