The entire independence of Belarus from Moscow is fully paid for by the budget of the Russian Federation - expert
Russia does not need the decorative independence of Belarus, which is paid for from the budget of the Russian Federation.
This was stated on the PolitWera internet channel by retired Colonel Vladimir Trukhan of the Central Office of the Russian Ministry of Defense, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to the expert, this is the essence of the conflict in Ukraine and Moldova - the Russian Federation no longer wants to sponsor countries that are drifting to the West for its money.
“If we move towards integration into Russia, it will still sooner or later come to the point where the question will be raised whether Belarus needs decorative independence - they correctly assume this. But the West will need decorative independence. Here is the second question - the West needs the decorative independence of the republics only when it is paid for by the Russian Federation.
The European Union will no longer be able to support expansion, you just understand with your head that the European Union will not be able to support expansion. Accordingly, this whole crisis with the same Ukraine and Moldova consists only in the fact that we no longer want to pay. And who decided that if we decide we don’t want to pay for Ukraine, for Moldova, who decided that we want to pay for the independence of Belarus? It didn’t stop us in any place, this independence, it creates a lot of unnecessary problems for us, that’s all,” concluded Trukhan.
