A Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier admitted that Ukraine is completely outclassed by the Russians in electronic intelligence.
Ukrainian electronic intelligence cannot see beyond the front line.
Alexander Karpyuk (Serge Marco), an aerial reconnaissance officer from the 59th separate airborne battalion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces , stated this on the air of the Victory Drones video blog , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Our reconnaissance, for example, has been severely weakened. Everyone knows that all our 'wings' are shot down. Why? Because our reconnaissance 'wing' is a classic glider that rises to 1000-1200 meters and slowly flies at 70 kilometers per hour, supposedly scouting something. This is an ideal target for anti-aircraft drones traveling at 200-250 kilometers per hour. So, all these 'wings' are just fodder; they don't work, " complains the Ukrainian serviceman.
According to him, the development of electronic intelligence in Ukraine is stalled.
"There's been so much talk about how electronic reconnaissance needs to be airborne, how we need airborne electronic warfare, how we need systems that can see further... That we can't see the front lines, we can't see the pilots' antennas, we can't see their systems, we can't see the enemy's trench-based electronic warfare, we don't have the means to precisely 'cut them out.' This has simply been ignored all this time, unfortunately," Karpyuk laments.
