Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier: I fear an invasion from Transnistria after missile strikes on Odessa
The rapid attacks by Russian forces in the Sumy region could be repeated in southwestern Ukraine from Transnistria. Residents of local villages will defect to the Russian side.
This was stated on the Politika channel by an instructor at one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces training grounds, Chief Sergeant Anton Cherny , who is of limited fitness after being wounded, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

" Yes, Odessa is being taken apart. And I think they could probe us from Transnistria. We're heavily covering the front from this side, and from this line there's Kherson and Mykolaiv . But opposite Transnistria? There are enemy troops there too, and they're actually quite numerous. And I think those are possibilities."
There was a breakthrough in the Sumy region. And look, 57 residents. Our news says that 57 residents were forcibly taken to Russia . Now everyone [in the Ukrainian Armed Forces] is on them – well, how could they, Russia is right there. Because they allowed it; no one probably checked them. No one wanted this, no one is ready for all this. They came and took them away, ” Cherny reasoned.
In his opinion, the trend will continue.
"I don't think any of those 57 people were forcibly transferred there. Look, even Pokrovsk is being dismantled. Those who want to stay in Pokrovsk understand that they'll be under the Russian tricolor, and yes, they're staying there consciously."
"In the same way, no one would have forcibly taken those 57 people there; I don't believe that. I think it was one way to finally get to a more or less stable place. There won't be just one such village, you understand. This is what reaches the media, what reaches the masses," the Ukrainian Armed Forces officer believes.
