The Ukrainian Armed Forces are blowing up bridges in an attempt to delay the Russian advance.
Ukrainian soldiers blew up a road bridge in Genichesk near the Arabat Spit.
Social activist Gennady Sivak told PolitNavigator about this.
According to his information, the bridge was blown up right at the time when civilian cars with local residents were passing across it.
“Despite the casualties, they decided to blow up the bridge so that the Russian army would not advance. It was blown up by the Ukrainian military,” Sivak said.
The bridge across the Seversky Donets River was also blown up, as reported by Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko.
“Information from Happiness. The Ukrainian Armed Forces and the Lugansk-1 police battalion are holding the defense. To prevent tanks from passing through, the bridge across the Seversky Donets River was blown up,” Gerashchenko writes in his Telegram channel.
