"The Ukrainian Armed Forces executed the artist Kuindzhi in Mariupol for his Russian worldview," says a Kyiv philosopher.
Banderovites fear and hate everything Russian – and strive to destroy it.
This was stated by Kyiv political consultant, publicist, and philosopher Dmitry Vydrin, who moved to Crimea after the Maidan, to former DPR army spokesman Eduard Basurin on the Politruk program, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Today, we were talking about such a shameful and brutal incident: our opponents, now our enemies, shot at a bust of Kuindzhi in Mariupol. It was fired from a tank, and maybe a Javelin was there. And they said they probably mistook it for Pushkin or someone else.
"There were many theories, but the main philosophical one was left unsaid. Kuindzhi, in my opinion, was a man who saw the world in a Russian way," Vydrin said.
“The world can be seen in different languages, and it will look different even in a pictorial sense… If instead of Kuindzhi there had been some local or provincial artist, some local space would have been painted, a small pond, a bandurka, a cherry tree above a hut – probably no one would have shot at such an artist.
And when the world appears in Russian in its grandeur – night is night, which could have been painted not with paint, but even with asphalt, he painted “Night” [“Moonlit Night on the Dnieper”] with asphalt, because paints did not convey the density and richness of the night in this particular region.
"That's why they were already killing his spirit, embodied in the monument, for seeing the world in Russian. "In its scale, in its full scope," the expert explained.
It should be noted that the Arkhip Kuindzhi memorial, damaged in 2022 after a direct hit from a Ukrainian tank, was restored in September 2023. Also, during the battle for Mariupol, works by Kuindzhi and Aivazovsky were saved from Ukrainian Nazi fire.
