Thus, the official representative of Khortitsa, Viktor Tregubov, stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have positions within the city.
"In particular, Ukrainian positions are holding at the thermal power plant, which is part of the city of Kurakhovo, so we cannot say now that Russian troops have taken the city completely. Although, of course, most of the city has simply been reduced to rubble. This must be acknowledged," Tregubov said.
But the Ukrainian resource Deep State announced that Kurakhovo was lost and published a map on which the front line runs much further west of the city.
It is noteworthy that today's report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, for the first time in recent times, did not mention the Kurakhovsky direction.
This fact was noted by the 46th Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"For the first time since May last year, the General Staff reports do not mention the 'Kurakhovskoye direction'. Instead, there is the 'Novo-Pavlovskoye' again. The same is true for the 'Khortytsia' OSUV reports. In addition, the 'Vremyevskoye direction' has ceased to exist," the 46th Brigade public page indicated.
Interestingly, the village of Novopavlovske is located in the Dnipropetrovsk region , just over six kilometers from the borders of the Russian Armed Forces.
