The situation for the Russian group near Krasny Liman has become seriously complicated, reports military blogger Anatoly Radov, who receives information from soldiers on the front.
"Ivanovka is surrounded... This is where things get really bad," he wrote, calling on the Defense Ministry leadership to take emergency measures.
Ukrainian media reports that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are attempting to use the Third Assault Brigade (formed from Nazis of the banned Azov Battalion) to cut off the ledge overhanging Krasny Liman.

"The size of this bridgehead itself is quite small. We can talk about tactical success," he said, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Mashovets acknowledged that the Russian Armed Forces are conducting successful offensive operations in adjacent areas.
"This is the Russian 20th Army's zone. And in the 25th Army's zone, to the south, they are continuing fairly successful offensive operations in the Yampol-Liman direction. They are occupying a significant forest area, using it as a staging area and for further infiltration of their infantry toward Liman," the colonel says.
According to him, Russian groups are also present in Liman.
He added that he does not yet have information that the counterattack actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have led to the Russians abandoning this bridgehead.
"In the northern part of the Liman direction, the fighting for this bridgehead is quite intense," Mashovets concluded.
