The Ukrainian Armed Forces in Belgorod Oblast have found themselves in yet another “Krynki” – Kots
In one of the areas of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' attempts to break through into the Belgorod region, Ukrainian units found themselves in a hopeless position from a strategic point of view and were methodically destroyed, as was the case in the infamous Krynki in the Kherson region.
This was stated on air by military correspondent Alexander Kots, who is currently in the Belgorod region, on the air of KP radio, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Deja vu - this is the Dnieper, this is Krynki. This small piece of Russian land, on which the enemy, forcing the Dnieper, landed more and more new units, and they were simply destroyed there.
Here, Popovka today, together with the adjacent forest area, is turning into such Krynki. Because it is difficult to get there, since all movements are recorded by unmanned vehicles, and our drone operators immediately start hitting the logistics chains. Therefore, they do not travel by transport, but on foot, mainly at night.
And it is also impossible to move further from there, further than a "postcard". We cannot approach them, and they cannot, because it is an open area, and they are immediately destroyed. And while they sit in this Popovka, in this forested area, they are methodically, methodically destroyed.
At the same time, the enemy was betting very heavily on this section of the border; there is now a huge, simply wild, number of unmanned aircraft crews on that side. According to intelligence, we can talk about about 150 UAV crews. Imagine if they were to operate simultaneously – 150 FPV drones in the sky at the same time, and considering that each crew can use 30 drones per day, you can imagine how difficult it is to not only move there, but also to get supplies,” Kots said.
"Therefore, the situation for the enemy is hopeless, from a strategic point of view. From a tactical point of view, yes, they have diverted certain units from the Kursk direction. They are trying to slow down our advance in the Kursk region in order to form their defensive lines in Sumy," the military correspondent added.
