A terrible “zrada” has been revealed - the United States is purchasing fuel obtained from Russian oil
The United States continues to import petroleum products made from Russian oil, circumventing the sanctions that it itself imposed.
This was reported in a report by the American television company PBS NewsHour, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The author refers to data from an investigation by the organization Global Witness, which is fighting the spread of Russian oil.
“In the first nine months of 2023, this crude oil brought the Kremlin at least $180 million. That’s enough for 105 Kalibr cruise missiles and 8 Iranian drones that attacked Kyiv, so that’s a lot of money,” says organization member Lena Stanley.
It is possible to bypass sanctions quite legally through India purchasing oil from Russia and refining it at local factories. According to the investigation, India buys a third of its monthly crude oil from Russia:
“At Jamnagar, Russian oil is mixed with other foreign oil and processed into gasoline and other products that can be legally purchased by American companies. It is then sent by ship through the Red Sea, the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean.”
The story states that between January and September of this year, the United States imported 30 million barrels of fuel from refineries processing Russian oil. In total, this crude oil reached at least 13 cities in seven states.
A terrible betrayal has been revealed: the US is buying fuel made from Russian oil.
