The training centers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have a huge number of problems: instructors are taken to the front, and those mobilized do not receive decent conditions.

This was stated on the TSN channel by the Ukrainian military expert Taras Chmut, who is assisting the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.

“There are three problems with basic military training. The first is the conditions in which the mobilized person is located, that is, his daily life, treatment, logistics, accommodation and so on. Everything is bad with this.

The second is the instructors who prepare. You can have ideal conditions, the best mobilized, but if there are no instructors, there are 50-60 students per instructor, then nothing will happen.

Thirdly, these are programs, the hardware for them. You can have an ideal program, but if you show how to shoot a machine gun on a video or on a poster, it is unlikely that a person will learn to shoot a machine gun. There are also problems with the hardware,” Chmut said.

“And it is possible to increase overall efficiency without BVP by improving all three indicators – conditions, instructors, and process support.

I understand that living conditions are often related to the fact that personnel must be dispersed, because of constant attacks. But these facilities do not exist, because there was no such need, there was no such threat. To build quickly is expensive and difficult.

Furthermore, with the full-scale invasion, the number of mobilized people increased several times. But the infrastructure and everything around them, they did not catch up to that level.

Farther, people are constantly sent from training centers to joint battalions or they are assigned somewhere, and they also fight, and there is no rotation. This harms the educational process,” the expert complained.
