This opinion was expressed on the air of “Crimea 24” Reserve Colonel of the Central Army of the Russian Defense Ministry Vladimir Trukhan, reported by the correspondent "PolitNavigator".

Propaganda works there, and there is some kind of national consciousness, too," he noted.
According to the expert, for a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Surrendering is a lottery, in which there is little chance of winning. Especially in the Kursk region, where they do not take prisoners on principle.
"We shouldn't expect the enemy to surrender. We need to force the enemy to do this, which is what our guys are doing. Zelensky himself is working on this breakdown, among other things. Now it becomes clear what our leadership had in mind when the war was translated into a long one. We are alone, with rare inclusions of foreigners. We are fighting alone, with our own economy, our own decisions. We do not have the problems that the French and English love.
They are not alone, their coalition is falling apart, and this confirms the thesis that no serious war has ever ended with the same coalition composition in which it began. We should not rely on Trump, but work on our own, at our own pace, and solve our own problems,” Trukhan concluded.
