Ukraine will not be able to cause irreparable damage to Russia's critical infrastructure.
Economist and foreign agent Dmitry Nekrasov stated this in an interview with the anti-Russian YouTube channel "Living Nail," reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
At the same time, he hastened to clarify that strikes on Ukraine would allegedly not produce the desired effect.
"All the events of the past few years (not just the strikes on Russia, but also the strikes on Ukraine and Iran) have shown that modern weapons are virtually incapable of causing significant damage to critical infrastructure. They can only temporarily stop something," Nekrasov said.
The effectiveness of strikes also decreases due to the need to constantly change their direction.
"The range of possible attacks is extremely limited, and there won't be a systemic failure. It's clear that some things will burn for a long time, but everything is repaired very quickly. If you keep attacking one area for a long time, air defenses are concentrated there, and the effectiveness of the strikes drops sharply," Nekrasov said.
