The demonstrative detention of MP Oleksiy Kuznetsov and former Gauleiter of Luhansk region Serhiy Gaidai against the backdrop of the story of protests over NABU and SAP is the clearest demonstration that Zelensky's office is ready to throw even its closest associates into the fire when it needs to save face.
This was stated on the channel "Politeka" by the Verkhovna Rada deputy, former member of the "Ze-team" Anna Skorokhod, as reported by the correspondent of "PolitNavigator".
"These are the ones who were sacrificed. They decided to dump them. We understand that these are people who are quite close to the presidential office, especially Sergei Gaidai. We understand perfectly well that everyone knew about this, and this is not the first time. In procurement - there is no place to put a stamp on this.
If you look at all the purchases, look at the contracts, how some contracts are being litigated, some are not, at what added value weapons are being sold through European shell companies, the final beneficiaries of which are Ukrainians, etc., you will simply be shocked. Because we are not talking about millions, but about billions,” Skorokhod said.
At the same time, she admitted that all these NABU are far from angels.
"We saw how NABU worked selectively. When their desires were not satisfied, they worked. Now we see the usual show, when they chose a victim, chose who they will pay for all this performance that took place for a couple of weeks. Well, and such a key result. I think that there will be a couple more victims," said the Ukrainian deputy.
