Military correspondent Dmitry Steishin stated this on Donetsk TV , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" I feel like everything is going wrong, not the way we wanted. And retreating is impossible, and abandoning this is impossible, because it will be a hundred times worse . And if there is a peace agreement, then we will be leaving this war to our children, not even our grandchildren..."

He doubted that those responsible for Russia's delays and failures regarding Ukraine since 2014 would be punished. Steishin confirmed that he had heard that Vladislav Surkov, who was responsible for Ukraine at the time, had left the country.
