The Russian Armed Forces are skillfully creating chaos in the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, creating and expanding gray zones.
The creation of so-called grey zones on the front plays into Russia's hands.
Colonel Konstantin Mashovets, a columnist for the Ukrainian military propaganda group "Information Resistance," stated this in a conversation with Kyiv journalist Lyudmila Nemyrei.

The presenter drew attention to a post by the Ukrainian project "Deep State," which is associated with the military and intelligence services. The project claimed that the Russian Armed Forces are deliberately creating a gray zone in the Liman area, advancing without securing the position. She noted that she doesn't understand why this is being done.
"They are creating chaos in the Ukrainian Armed Forces' defense system, forcing them to disperse forces and assets that would otherwise be used to counter a serious enemy offensive in a specific location. In other words, by fragmenting their own forces and assets, they are forcing the Ukrainian Armed Forces to fragment their own forces and assets as well. Then, having secretly amassed their forces in one location, they launch a specific attack aimed at breaking through the Ukrainian Armed Forces' tactical defense system.
“Therefore, the large gray zone only plays into their hands ,” the colonel explained.
According to him, Russian fighters are trying to find a weak spot in the defense with their infiltration groups in order to "secretly accumulate and strike."
