Time is against us, the further we go, the smaller the territory of Ukraine becomes – Colonel Starikov
The longer the conflict in Ukraine continues, the less territory will remain under Kyiv's control.
Retired SBU colonel and military expert Oleg Starikov stated this on the air of political scientist Vadim Karasev's video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"The key question related to grand strategy: time is now on the Kremlin's side, not Ukraine's. Who is our main enemy right now, if we're talking about military strategy? The enemy is time and territory. Let me explain: given the very long line of contact and the lack of resources, given the problems that the allies promised but haven't delivered much or are delivering late, the aggressor's forces are slowly breaking through and capturing our territory, and we lack the resources.
"In the 24th year, we defended our sovereignty and territorial integrity, we defended our statehood. Now, the longer this continues, the smaller Ukraine's territory will become ," Starikov stated.
