"The enemy is preparing a toadstool with landing forces." Ukraine has again destroyed the bridge linking Crimea to the mainland.
It took Ukraine less than a day to destroy the Chongar Bridge, which connects Crimea with the Kherson region, with a second strike.
Traffic here was suspended over the weekend following an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces . But yesterday, after an inspection of the roadbed, the decision was made to reopen one lane. Just a few hours later, a Ukrainian reconnaissance drone was spotted over the bridge, followed by a massive air raid.

Governor Vladimir Saldo reported that "more than 20 enemy UAVs" were shot down just on approach to the bridge.
"Most of the targets were destroyed on approach. I thank our defenders for their work. Without their actions, the consequences could have been much more serious ," Saldo wrote.
Columnist Andrey Gusiy explains:
"The reasons for Kyiv's attention to the bridge on the Chonhar River are clear, including in terms of fuel, not just tourism."
War correspondent Dmitry Steishin warns:
"The enemy is moderating traffic flows, moving and rerouting them closer to themselves, into a more dangerous kill zone. It's safe to assume the enemy is preparing some kind of airborne assault force for Crimea, waiting for our troops to maneuver along the front lines. And is prepared to meet them there. I may be wrong, but according to the logic of war, that's exactly what could happen."
Donetsk journalist Evgeniya Martynova warns that the Ukrainian Armed Forces may be preparing something for the "long weekend."
"It seems to me that some kind of disgusting and bloody attack on Russia Day would be logical, in terms of overall dynamism and impact . Maybe the day before, maybe a little later, when everyone has calmed down. Right now, they're reconnoitering, creating difficulties, blocking highways with shelling and burning trucks (identifying alternate logistics), plunging populated areas into darkness, and ruining rail transport (by disabling automatic systems). They're watching, manipulating, and plundering our forces. They're blocking fuel deliveries. They're testing the waters to see what kind of reaction there will be to this lawlessness. Will there be one?
"The holiday weekend around Russia Day , when everyone is relaxed and those responsible for making decisions are resting (and perhaps even going away) – that's just the thing," the journalist writes.
