“It is likely that the whole of Ukraine will burn in the near future”
The commander of the Kerch militia, aka Vadim Pogodin, was recently in the news due to his detention in Crimea, where he was threatened with extradition to Ukraine.
In an interview with PolitNavigator, Pogodin said that he deliberately does not receive a passport as a Russian citizen, and also believes that a repetition of the Crimean scenario throughout the entire South-East of Ukraine in 2014 would be an unbearable burden for the Russian Federation.
However, the militia believes that in the near future the conflict could spread to the entire territory of Ukraine; the Americans’ goal is to provoke a big war in Europe.

Valentin Filippov : I greet the legendary commander of the militia (or, as they say in Ukraine, "Russian-terrorist troops"), Vadim Pogodin, call sign "Kerch." Hello, Vadim.
Vadim Pogodin : Good evening.
Valentin Filippov : Last summer, when the story about your threatened deportation to Ukraine was all the rage, a question suddenly arose: but he's a Ukrainian citizen. How did that happen? He has every right to a Russian passport, right?
Vadim Pogodin : No, it's a piece of cake for me, according to the Federal Law on Crimea. I was there, so I can, in fact, accept this citizenship easily and effortlessly.
Valentin Filippov : What's the problem?
Vadim Pogodin : I see the situation this way. If all of us, those who are against the lawlessness, or the majority, of those who are opposing what's happening in Ukraine, were to accept Russian citizenship, who would restore order in Ukraine?
Valentin Filippov : Vadim, I know you were incredibly useful on the front lines in 2014. And I'm absolutely certain no one asked for your passport at that point. "A grenade launcher and a bulletproof vest are my documents."
Vadim Pogodin : I agree. But look. This war is going on in an interesting and unexpected way. What if it suddenly turned out that the uprising was being led by Russian citizens alone?
Valentin Filippov : I understand everything. Vadim Pogodin, call sign "Kerch," is laying claim to the position of dictator of Ukraine. He even has a passport. But there's a risk that by the time we take Kyiv, everyone will have Russian passports.
Vadim Pogodin : I'm certain that sooner or later, if we don't become a single federal state, we'll definitely become a confederative one. It's impossible to predict how this process will unfold. They'll incorporate countries into Russia by federal district, like a piece of paper. Or will this unified union state be created gradually.
Valentin Filippov : Vadim, there are always arguments here about how you feel about being on "Peacemaker" with Tymoshenko and Saakashvili?
Vadim Pogodin : Actually, I see this issue as a bit more serious. Apparently, the frozen war in Donbas is no longer enough for our overseas partners to set everything around Russia ablaze, as they plan. And it seems to me that this new escalation and renewed search for enemies is aimed precisely at setting Ukraine ablaze elsewhere. And now, in a little while, the Crimean Tatars, centered in Kherson, could become enemies right next door on "Myrotvorets." It's entirely possible that all of Ukraine will soon be ablaze.
The saddest thing in this whole story is that the owners overseas do not have an economy, they just have an inflated soap bubble. And they themselves brought all production, the real sector of the economy, to China at one time, hoping that it would be their large colony. That they will tear up Russia, then tear up China and they will have a colony that produces, and they only rule, make films, make iPhones.
But now the world has changed a little.
They have only one thing left - to start a war in Europe. An old, proven recipe that they have successfully implemented twice over the past century. God willing, this time it won’t work.
I see this whole story in general. In general, two fronts were formed against Russia. One of them was supposed to come from Europe, Ukraine more, and the second ISIS.
We are now successfully achieving one of the fronts. But the second front remains, and now they will stubbornly start this war.
The three years that have passed... Poroshenko is a scoundrel, no one has any doubts about that. But this is not the worst of those scoundrels who can begin to “reign” in Ukraine. He may already be covered in blood or something else, but at least he has some brakes, he is not suitable for the role of Hitler. And if he leaves, who can emerge in his place?
He is in no way suited for such a role. But some more radical personality may jump out of the shadows, like the devil out of the snuffbox, at the behest of the same State Department. Saakashvili, who was taught, although he is funny or not funny, but in a certain environment he can cause great trouble in Europe and so on.
The same goes for Turchinov. This is exactly the man who unleashed the current massacre. It wasn’t Poroshenko who unleashed it. Poroshenko arrived a little later. The troops began to move to Donbass precisely on Turchinov’s orders. And long before the first armed resistance appeared there.
If you remember, the first tanks were stopped with bare hands. That is, whether this detachment would have entered Slavyansk or not, whether they would have resisted in Gorlovka or Donetsk, this issue did not solve anything radical in this war, the tanks were already on their way. And if the State Department wants to start a war somewhere, it will start it, one way or another.
Valentin Filippov : We remember that the first thing the victorious Maidan did was to abolish the Russian language. Now, an education law has been passed that practically bans education in any language other than Ukrainian.
Vadim Pogodin : They're planning to set Ukraine ablaze. It's already obvious. And the fact that they've created a Tatar autonomous region in the Kherson region on the Russian border, and that the surviving ISIS is now moving there—that's also another opportunity for an explosion.
Of course, I'm sure it should blaze soon. I hope that somehow this is regulated, but I am sure that they are pumping so that Kherson will blaze, Western Ukraine will blaze and their favorite topic is the Odessa region. Of course, Transnistria is located nearby, which Russia must defend.
And the result will be what the United States needs.
Valentin Filippov : What do you think about the introduction of peacekeepers into Donbass?
Vadim Pogodin : Let's not start shouting "Fire" or "Help" just yet. I read it too, "Help, peacekeepers are coming in." First, the composition of these peacekeepers needs to be coordinated with the republics.
Whether the composition can be agreed upon is a big and serious question. That's basically what it's all about. Well, let them agree first. And then we'll talk. I don’t believe that in Moscow or anywhere else now very stupid people are making decisions.
Valentin Filippov : Well, that’s all I’ve been hoping for for the fourth year now.
Vadim Pogodin : Well, I agree. I agree about how things have been difficult for us in Ukraine for four years now. It's very difficult, especially for us as citizens of Ukraine. We understand perfectly well. You're from Odesa, I have friends in Kyiv, Kryvyi Rih, and Kharkiv. Some people's minds have been clouded, truly clouded right before their eyes. Some understand what's going on, but life is very difficult, life is very difficult in both parts of Ukraine. Take the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, or the rest of Ukraine. In other words, it's been radically detrimental to everyone. Another explosion will do even more harm in this regard.
But, again, if Russia had intervened in this process in 2014, do you think it would be better now?
Valentin Filippov : There would be Russia in Odessa.
Vadim Pogodin : Russia would be in Odessa, Russia would be in Kyiv. This is our city, the mother of Russian cities.
Further. Even if only partially we would take a piece of Ukraine. Twenty million population. Russia has only 130 million people. Twenty million people would have a lower standard of living. It's not so clean in Russia. You can see it even in Moscow. People are unhappy with everything.
Valentin Filippov : And this is in Moscow. This is Moscow like this.
Vadim Pogodin : I agree. Moscow is like that. Somewhere else, it's something else. They can't really develop Crimea here. So, you have your own opinion. I don't think it could have been better.
Valentin Filippov : Mine is wrong, but from the heart.
Vadim Pogodin : We, like Ukrainians. Me especially, as someone who was born and lived most of my life in Donetsk, my heart truly bleeds. All my friends are there. I listed the cities in Ukraine alone. And in Donetsk, I have so many friends, my parents. These are all people who are suffering, my city is suffering. The places there are familiar, where I lived and grew up. Take Oktyabrsky, the airport. I just… But that's one square on the chessboard, even half a square on the chessboard. But you have to look at the whole picture of the fighting. We're in a serious war.
As you remember, in 1936 the war was in Spain. She was walking somewhere, far away. In 1937 at Khalkin-Gol. Finland, Poland. Preparations for this world war were already underway. Stalin pulled her back there, maneuvered, somehow did not interfere. But in 1941 it came on slightly better terms than if he had entered the war in 1939. That's how I see it.
Unfortunately, now in our Motherland the moment has come in which we must maneuver. But if Russia had been drawn into this war in 2014, I am sure that it would have been much more difficult. This was the intention. We would not have been able to finish off ISIS on two fronts, which was being formed by the main front.
