Washington has decided to supply defensive weapons to Ukraine.

“The United States has decided to provide Ukraine with enhanced defensive capabilities to protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as to repel further aggressions,” RIA Novosti quotes US State Department spokeswoman Heather Naurt.

Earlier, ABC News reported that we are talking about providing 210 anti-tank missiles and 35 installations worth $47 million.

“The decision to supply Javelin anti-tank missiles moves Washington closer to conflict in eastern Ukraine,” the World Street Journal writes today.
