Russian pilots destroy unmanned boats launched by Ukraine after spotting them in the Black Sea. Detecting these craft by other means is virtually impossible due to their composite hulls.
A military blogger and aviation veteran with the call sign Figrhterbomber announced this on air on the Central Channel video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" Our naval aviation is destroying BEKs today, just like in World War I. We can detect BEKs visually . You can see the size of a BEK, you see, with binoculars. That's why I'm giving them binoculars, you see?...," he said.
"Naval aviation destroys enemy aircraft visually. That is, the pilot must see them—the Su-30 has no sighting aids, no optical ones, you see—he must see the aircraft with his eyes alone.
And he hits them with cluster bombs, or missiles, or even regular bombs, and, of course, with a cannon,” the blogger said.
