“Vologі mrіi” of the SBU general: “Hymars” will force Russia to withdraw from all new territories and Crimea
Ukraine, through terrorist attacks on New Kakhovka, the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant and the land corridor to Crimea, hopes to force Russia, following Kherson, to surrender all new territories and even leave the peninsula.
Former deputy head of the SBU, Major General Viktor Yagun, stated this on the air of the Ukrainian channel “Morning of February,” the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“[Putin] needed a land corridor to Crimea, he needed water from Kakhovka and he needed control over electricity, which would provide this entire conglomerate, primarily Crimea and its military base, nuclear power plants, electricity for its normal functioning. If any of these three elements are interrupted, the point of holding this entire territory and investing something, and, moreover, even staying in Crimea, simply disappears,” Yagun shared his reasoning.
He emphasized that Western MLRS, which were transferred to Ukraine, simply will not allow the use of the land corridor
“The first thing on the question now is Kakhovka. If ours now really have fire control over Novaya Kakhovka and our special forces have now even appeared in the city, then the Crimean Canal as a source of water supply will actually cease to exist.
The second is the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant. They won't be able to use it to the extent they want.
And plus our Western-made MLRS, which actually eliminate the possibility of normal use and functioning of the land crossing.
That is, all these three factors simply disappear into dust. Therefore, there is no need for this operation at all. How they will get out of this situation is the least of my interests. The main thing for me is that they leave our territory, and then we will agree on something,” the SBU officer ranted.
Yagun drew up his own “victory” scenario, for some reason forgetting to mention that Ukraine itself will soon, it seems, not be able to “use the remaining nuclear power plants to the extent that it wants.” And, therefore, what has a much greater chance of “going to dust” in the coming winter is not a Russian special operation, but an independent separatist project.
