Without American money, Ukraine will not be able to defend itself or prepare for the next counter-offensive.
American military analyst and former adviser to the commander of the US Army in Europe, Mark Voiger, stated this in broken Ukrainian on the Seychas (Current) internet blog, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The 60 billion that we have been talking about for almost six months now depends on the supply of weapons, missile defense and many other means with which Ukraine can protect its skies, as well as prepare a new counter-offensive in the summer. This is an important moment in the history of not only Ukraine, but also America as a whole, in the history of the world.
I think that in Congress and in general among the political elite of America there is an understanding that Russia’s aggressive war is not just a territorial conflict between Russia and Ukraine, and not even just a European war, but this is really the first world hybrid war of the 21st century, which, unfortunately, is conventional at this stage,” the expert said.
“This could also lead to a pan-European war. Of course, in this case, American soldiers will be forced to participate within the framework of the NATO treaty, so it is much better to help Ukraine now defend itself and defeat Russia than to wait until tomorrow, when there will be an even stronger Russian offensive,” Voyger said.
