"The war with NATO will be over Scandinavia. The Baltics are a buffer," says an expert.
The West is turning the Baltic Sea into a “NATO sea”, in anticipation of a future real military clash with Russia.
Sergei Grinyaev, director of the Center for Strategic Assessments and Forecasts, announced this at a press conference in Moscow, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Not for the Baltics, but for the Baltic-Scandinavian macro-region as a whole, including the Scandinavian countries, Poland, Germany in part, and the Baltics.
The Baltics won't take up much of Washington's time, but the Baltic-Scandinavian region, in general, will.
Because the US (and NATO as the main partner and regional dominant) will continue this strategy for 23-24 years and will shape the Baltic Sea into a "NATO sea," increasing its military presence there and expanding its logistical presence," the expert said.
According to him, NATO is interested in the Baltics as a buffer in the event of a real conflict with Russia.
“In the event of a potential conflict with Russia, as they envision it by 2030, Scandinavia will effectively be cut off from Europe, and assistance can only be provided by air or sea.
Therefore, the Baltic, the Baltic Straits, and the North Atlantic are extremely important for NATO in order to avoid losing access to Scandinavia in the event of an escalation of the international situation.
In this context, the Baltic countries will act as a buffer, allowing NATO to maintain this logistical and, in general, military-political doctrine," the expert explained.
