The official representative of the Investigative Committee, Svetlana Petrenko, told the publication that we are talking about three participants and heads of structural units of an extremist community banned in Russia, Russian citizens Vitaly Tsaruk, Viktor Pekhterev and Kirill Khalepo, who committed nine crimes of an extremist and terrorist nature.
“The Investigative Committee said that in October 2013, a citizen of the Republic of Belarus, Dmitry Pavlov, who holds racist and neo-Nazi views, created the extremist community Misanthropic Division. If the name of the organization is translated into Russian, it will result in a “misanthropic division.” Dmitry Pavlov is now hiding from our investigators. They say that in Germany. Members of this “division” preach neo-Nazi ideology. Before that, they underwent bloody baptism on the Ukrainian Maidan and in the Donbass. On the Internet, these people propagated Nazi ideas and recruited into their ranks those who would go to fight in the East of Ukraine. Now most of these groups on social networks are blocked. And the extremists went underground,” the newspaper writes.
The Investigative Committee also noted that since 2004, the activities of the Misanthropic Division have acquired an international character and become more radical, and community cells have been opened in 19 countries, including not only Russia, Belarus and Ukraine, but also Germany, France, Poland, England and other European countries.
“Members of the Ukrainian cell are popularizing Bandera ideology. Many of them fought in the Right Sector and Azov, which were banned in our country. Our law enforcement officers did not start catching members of the neo-Nazi association yesterday, reminds RG. – The first detainee was a resident of Vologda, who was distributing fascist symbols. A year later, the organization was officially banned. There are now many supporters of this “division” in Europe. They are well funded. This money is used, in particular, to undermine the socio-political situation in Russia. There is a suspicion that if there were no money for such hate movements, the east of Ukraine would have become peaceful long ago.”
