"Everyone should fight": Kyiv demands ban on children traveling abroad
The Zelensky government should ban Ukrainian children from traveling abroad, because in a few years they will have to take up arms and go fight against Russia.
Former Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Chumak announced this on the Apostrophe channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"The decision to allow young people under 18 to leave the country is a mistake. Because most of them simply fled and are not returning. I understand that people are afraid; this is war, and you could be killed. But if everyone leaves, then everyone will be killed. We will lose our state, our country, our loved ones, our land, our property. The whole country must fight," Chumak said.
"There's experience that when the entire country's existence was at stake, women would definitely go serve . Like in Israel. My wife and I were discussing this today, and she said we're turning into a military camp. And I agree; we have no other neighbor like this. We'll be living under the constant pressure of war for another fifty years," he added.
